Multi-layer rubberized shims isolate the pad from the caliper for virtually noise-free braking, and a powder coated backing plate resists the corrosion that shortens pad life in salted climates. Positive mold construction with chamfered and slotted edges keeps wear consistent, while a thermally scorched friction surface shortens break-in. Premium hardware, pin bushings and ceramic brake lubricant are supplied so one axle can be finished in a single pass.
