These Z23 Evolution Sport pads swap the factory rear ceramic friction for PowerStop's low-dust Carbon-Fiber Ceramic compound, which adds stopping power on a heavy SUV while keeping dust off large diameter wheels. The low dust formulation is confirmed by third-party on-vehicle testing rather than a laboratory claim. Positive mold construction, chamfering, slotting and a thermally scorched surface deliver even wear, quiet operation and a fast break-in. Multi-layer rubberized shims and a powder coated backing plate deal with vibration and corrosion, and premium stainless-steel hardware plus ceramic brake lubricant are included with the pads.
