The Z36 Truck & Tow kit with powder coated calipers is PowerStop's complete front axle brake package for trucks, 4x4s and SUVs that tow, haul or climb. Carbon fiber reinforced Z36 ceramic pads, a compound built to hold friction level under heavier loads than a standard ceramic, run against drilled, slotted and zinc plated rotors that dump heat on long descents and resist corrosion. Red powder coated calipers come in the box, coated, assembled and tested at PowerStop's Chicago, Illinois facility. Stainless steel shims back the pads for heat dissipation and quiet braking, and PowerStop measured roughly 30% less brake dust than OE in third party on vehicle testing. Premium stainless steel hardware and high temperature ceramic brake lubricant are included for a bolt-on fit. Coverage runs 36 months or 36,000 miles.
