R1 Concepts Optimum OEp is a low-metallic, integrally molded OE replacement pad set supplied with a full mounting hardware kit. R1 rates the compound at low dust with a noise rating of 1 out of 5, targeting quiet daily driving and rotor friendly wear rather than track duty. Each box covers one axle: four pads plus the hardware needed to install them. The friction material is 100 percent asbestos free and bonded to a rubber coated steel shim backplate. The pads are prepared for an electronic wear sensor, which is not included in the kit.
