Seibon VT-Style Carbon Fiber Hood - Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 2013-2020

Do I need hood pins with this hood?

• Yes. Hood pins are required on this Seibon hood for safety.

Is a heat shield required?

• Yes. A heat shield is required to prevent damage to the hood.

Can I keep my factory hood struts?

• No. Do not use stock shocks, dampers, struts or springs; the lighter hood may not close with them and can crack under the pressure.

Does the hood need to be painted?

• No. It ships with a gloss finish and is show-ready. If you paint it, normal prep with sanding and primer is needed.

What warranty does it have?

• A 6-month limited clear coat guarantee plus a fitment guarantee on stock, unmodified US-spec vehicles. Test-fit and photograph the hood before paint, wrap or install.
