This Skunk2 Alpha Series kit pairs valve springs with titanium retainers for Honda's D-series VTEC engines. Manufactured from super-clean Japanese chrome-silicone wire, the Alpha springs prevent valve float and maintain valvetrain stability past 10,000 rpm, while the titanium retainers reduce valvetrain mass for added stability. Springs are rated at 62 lbs seat pressure and 168 lbs open pressure.
