The Skunk2 Universal High-Velocity Intake Kit reduces heat soak and maximizes airflow and velocity for any induction system. This version pairs the kit with a 3.5in reinforced silicone coupler. It uses a 6.8in-diameter high-flow, low-restriction air filter with a double-cone design: the inverted inner cone increases surface area and capacity while reducing turbulence and guiding incoming air for higher flow rates. The included composite velocity stack carries golf-ball-style dimples that energize the boundary layer, reduce surface drag, and keep air attached as it curves into the bell mouth for higher velocity and greater air-mass delivery. In Skunk2's CFD-backed flow testing against a conventional filter, this design flowed about 20% more air-mass.
