The Sparco Ultra Carbon is the lightest FIA 8855-1999 seat Sparco makes, a twin-skin pre-preg aerospace grade dry carbon shell weighing 9.5 lb. It ships bare with no padding or cover, which seats the driver as low in the car as the shell allows and passes chassis feedback straight through; Sparco sells a matching Alcantara padding kit separately. The shell is body contoured with built-in lumbar support and is Sparco's narrowest, fitting M and L drivers up to a 36 inch waist. It is homologated under number CS.500.22 and valid through 2032, and Sparco recommends its 600W or 600W90 aluminum side mounts for the lowest seating position.
