SPEC Stage 2+ Clutch Kit BMW 335i / 135i / 535i N54 - Multi-Friction, Rigid Hub

SPEC part number SB533H is the Stage 2 Plus clutch for BMW's N54 3.0L twin-turbo six. Stage 2+ swaps the Stage 2 Kevlar disc for SPEC's multi-friction disc, which SPEC says maintains the excellent drivability of Stage 2 while adding 15-20% more torque capacity. For the E9x 335 applications SPEC specifies this kit as a rigid-hub disc.

The practical difference between this kit and SPEC's Stage 2 SB532-2 is what it bolts to. SB533H is the ratcheting assembly, listed by SPEC for use with the OE dual-mass flywheel or an aftermarket billet flywheel cut to the OE clutch pattern — so no flywheel purchase is forced. SB532-2, by contrast, is non-ratcheting and mandates a SPEC billet single-mass flywheel. Choose SB533H if you are keeping the factory flywheel and want the higher-capacity multi-friction disc.
