What comes in the box?
- The wastegate assembly, valve seat, air fitting set, coolant fitting set, V-band inlet and outlet flanges with clamps, and the springs.
How do the springs set boost?
- The resulting pressure is the sum of the individual springs installed, and springs of different outside diameter can be combined; the spring chart lists each spring's rating. Choose the lowest boost you want, since an external controller can only raise boost above the spring pack.
Do I need to connect the coolant ports?
- Connecting the water cooling ports is recommended because it can significantly increase wastegate lifespan.
Should the wastegate be tested before installation?
- Yes. Testing is recommended before installation and after each spring change, using regulated shop air on the lower actuator port only, never above 2 bar. The valve should crack open near the spring pack rating and lift fully as pressure rises.
What warranty does it carry?
- TiAL Sport covers its products for 24 months from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship or components. Mishandling, abuse or faulty installation void the coverage, and the warranty is not transferable.
