The Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler kit replaces the factory charge air cooler on EA888 Gen 4 2.0 TSI engines with a 620 x 440 x 65 mm tube and fin core using internal turbulators. External charge air volume grows to 17.7 L from the stock 9 L, and Wagner quotes 57% less back pressure, helped by CAD and CFD optimized cast aluminum end tanks and 70 mm inlet and outlet ports. The plug and play kit includes reinforced silicone hoses, clamps and mounting hardware, and it is intended for competition vehicles only.
