The Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler kit replaces the factory front mount intercooler on MQB platform VAG models with the 1.8 and 2.0 TSI engines, led by the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R. Its 640 x 410 x 65 mm Competition tube-fin core holds 17 liters of charge air versus the factory 9 liters, and the cast aluminum end tanks, developed with CFD simulation, use an integrated air guide for even core filling and lower back pressure. Inlet and outlet are enlarged to 70 mm, with matching reinforced silicone hoses and clamps included. The cooler weighs 9.75 kg and carries an anti-corrosion coating with thermally conductive properties.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
  • Final sale: special orders, coilovers, electronics, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers and turbo kits, unless defective or we sent the wrong item.
