The Wagner Tuning Performance intercooler kit replaces the factory water cooled intercooler on the Audi 2.9 liter V6 biturbo (EA839). Its 222 x 200 x 120 mm Performance core holds 5.33 liters, 185% more external core volume than the 1.87 liter OEM unit, for lower charge air temperatures under sustained load. Cast aluminum end tanks designed in CAD and refined with CFD simulation keep back pressure low and ease the load on the turbochargers, and a heat conducting anti-corrosion coating protects the core. The kit installs plug and play with the silicone air hoses and coolant hoses supplied.
